We are seeking a Mechanical Technician for a repair station in Coatesville, PA. The role involves the disassembly of a wide variety of Rolls-Royce M250 Series engines and components. You will work alongside and receive training from some of the most experienced M250 technicians in the industry. Previous aviation experience is valued but not required.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components.
- Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Perform testing of M250 model engines and components.
Essential Skills- Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturers instructions, drawings, and technical documents.
- Mechanical experience in either the aviation or automotive industry.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Able to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift 50 lbs. routinely.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P license preferred but not required.
