We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next-generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth.
Bell is seeking a Mechanic Electronics to support Flight Research Center in Arlington, TX.
What you need to be successful
- Performs a wide variety of duties necessary to ensure the proper functioning of aircraft electrical, electronic, communication, navigation, flight instruments, and instrumentation systems or packages.
- Fabricates, constructs, installs, tests, adjusts, maintains, repairs or replaces any components, panels or sections of the above systems or packages.
- Lays out and installs a variety of tubing and /or tubing systems for instrumentation work.
- May be assigned to install, adjust, and maintain control tower or other fixed base or mobile communications equipment.
- Makes “in-flight tests” as necessary.
- Must obtain any additional licenses or permits required by the government to meet government regulations.
Tools & Equipment Used:
- Radio repair and electrician’s hand tools, flaring tools, tube cutters, and tubing installation tools.
- Various types of power tools and hand tools necessary to perform required work.
