Are you ready to take your electro-mechanical expertise to the skies? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Advanced professional to join our dynamic aerospace team in Phoenix, AZ. Your contributions will directly impact the assembly, maintenance, and precision of critical aerospace components, ensuring the highest standards of quality in the industry.
Position: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Contract)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour + 10 Differential for 2nd Shift
Key Responsibilities:Precision Soldering & Tool Use: Soldering electronic components and utilizing various hand tools (e.g., jumper wires, solder cups, torque drivers, calipers, soldering irons) to assemble electronic units.
Material Handling: Identify and use correct parts, components, wires, and materials while measuring, mixing, and applying adhesives and chemicals.
Assembly & Testing: Perform assembly of electronic units, adhering to established assembly techniques and technical specifications.
Technical Communication: Read and interpret technical data such as assembly instructions and engineering prints. Communicate effectively with team members and support staff on work status.
System Utilization: Utilize computer systems to manage work instructions, labor charging, and materials requisitions. Proficiency in generating Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reject tags via SAP.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve assembly or work area challenges, maintaining high-quality standards throughout.
Qualifications:Required:
J-STD-001 Soldering certification.
High School Diploma or GED.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of office software applications.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $26.40 per hour
