Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics for our repair station. In this role, you will perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications. This project is expected to last for over a year. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks.
• Ensure all work is completed with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain and inventory your own tools.

• 3-5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Possession of your own tools, which must be etched and inventoried.
• Willingness to work 5+ hours of overtime weekly.

• Experience with structural modifications, MRO, and repair stations.
• Familiarity with P145, P121, commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both hangar and outside settings. You will be working primarily within a hangar and occasionally in outdoor environments, ensuring the maintenance and repair of various aircraft.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
