Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Technician (Fast Track)

Job Description

Join our team as an Aviation Maintenance Technician where you will be responsible for assembling and modifying aircraft parts and components. You will have the opportunity to correct any malfunctions or deficiencies with and without power applied to the aircraft. Additionally, you will access and reinstall aircraft components that obstruct task performance, while performing basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and modify aircraft parts and components.
• Correct malfunctions or deficiencies with and without power applied to the aircraft.
• Access and reinstall aircraft components obstructing task performance.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in repair, aircraft maintenance, and aviation maintenance.
• Experience with military aircraft.
• 8610-2 documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Motivated individuals seeking to achieve their A&P license in a 6-week fast track program.

Work Environment

You will work at a service center facility located in Hartford, CT. The environment is non-climate controlled and customer-facing. Work shifts are to be determined. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor Locks, CT.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
