Job Title: AssemblerJob Description
The Assembler will perform manual labor in a production line, assembling parts for satellite systems.
Responsibilities
- Works as part of a production team to assemble parts.
- Sorts and places material or items on tables, racks, or bins.
- Assembles satellite sub-assembly parts manually.
- Uses various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
- Cleans assembled parts and places them in protective bags or boxes.
- Packs, seals, and moves boxes.
- Picks up, moves, and sorts small parts.
- Uses small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills- Experience with assembly, blueprint reading, and wiring.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with sheet metal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- USA, Permanent Resident Card Holder, or Non-Citizen allowed to work for any employer.
- Associates degree or certificate in a technical area.
- Assembly or manufacturing experience.
- High aptitude to work with small electronic components, including soldering of small electrical components or mechanical equipment.
- Experience in the space or aeronautical field.
