Job Title: Aircraft Support Technologist
Job DescriptionAn Aircraft Support Technologist typically focuses on ensuring the operational efficiency and airworthiness of aircraft. This role is vital in minimizing aircraft downtime and increasing fleet utilization, while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Reduce aircraft Out of Service (OOS) time and increase fleet utilization.
- Support airworthiness requirements through data collection, reporting, and incident investigation.
- Provide technical support to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and safety reports.
- Work closely with engineering teams to implement solutions and improvements.
Essential Skills- Degree in aviation technology, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in heavy aircraft maintenance (mechanics, structures, and/or avionics).
- Propeller experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Dash 6 (Twin Otter) and Dash 8 (Q400) or CL215 (waterbomber) preferred.
- Canadian experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work a rotational schedule.

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position located in Mississauga, Ontario. The shift pattern includes 3 days, 1 night, with 4 days on and 4 days off, working 12-hour shifts. The training period will last 3-4 months, with Monday to Friday day shifts.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
