Aircraft Assembly Technician

Job Description

Currently hiring 12 technicians with strong mechanical skills to work on aircraft landing gear to support the gear shop. The ideal candidate comes from an automotive service center, with automotive mechanics experience, or has worked on/maintained a military fleet. Candidates from aviation assembly with good working knowledge of micrometers and calipers are also encouraged to apply. Under the direction of the Production Shop Supervisor, the Gear Technician services aircraft landing gear components through troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and parts replacement at the component/depot level using manuals and other data. This position requires strong mechanical ability and great attention to detail. A Gear Technician must be willing to accomplish both repetitive and unfamiliar tasks on a regular basis with the use of aviation repair manuals.

This is a fully on-site position in TITUSVILLE, Florida.

Work Environment

Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm or 2nd shift Mon-Fri 2:00pm-11:30pm.
