Job Title: A&P MechanicJob Description
Perform repair and maintenance on Cessna 172 and 177 aircraft, including airframe, powerplant, and avionics equipment to landing gears and wheels. Utilize internal computer system to track and log work. Work independently, including being the only person in the hangar for certain jobs. Troubleshoot and identify issues with little guidance. Perform some annual inspection work or assist with it.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and maintenance on Cessna 172 and 177 aircraft.
- Handle airframe, powerplant, and avionics equipment maintenance.
- Maintain landing gears and wheels.
- Utilize internal computer system to track and log work.
- Work independently, including being the sole person in the hangar for certain jobs.
- Troubleshoot and identify issues with minimal guidance.
- Perform or assist with annual inspection work.
Essential Skills- Active A&P license.
- Ideally 3 years of experience.
- Experience in General Aviation (GA).
- Computer experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Cessna or Piper experience.
- Sheet metal and avionics experience.

Work Environment
Work Monday to Thursday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with a couple of hours on Fridays to ensure a 40-hour work week. Some weekend work may be required during busy periods. This is a very small hangar located at the South St. Paul airport.
