CTR Group is seeking several Installation Assemblers in Lafayette, IN. Immediate openings and urgent hiring! Non-local Candidates are welcome to apply!
PAY:
$40/hr plus $150/day per diem based on 5 days, plus paid travel to and from the job if not local.
DURATION:
6 Months
SHIFTS:
1st shift (7a-3:30p), & 3rd shift (11p-7:30a)
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of aerospace systems and installation experience.
- A high school degree or equivalent is required.
- A technical degree or certification in the field of aviation assembly, mechanics, or maintenance is a plus.
- “Fighter” platform experience is preferred.
- Experience in delivering high levels of quality in compliance with ISO/AS9100 a plus.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications in written and digital formats is required.
- Ability to execute the appropriate working methods and select the correct hand tools to achieve the proper level of quality and efficiency.
- Ability to work with standardized procedures for high repeatability in an advanced and connected environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as consistently sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, grasping, gripping, standing, walking, climbing, and reaching throughout a normal workday.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions (such as lifting or assembly of parts) including the use of handheld power tools.
- Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds frequently, and up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion.
- Ability to work extended hours when required.
