• Must have A&P license + 4 years of recent General Aviation aircraft experience

Perform maintenance on General Aviation aircraft within a shop/hangar environment. Duties include annual inspections, avionics updates and repairs, transponder checks, and more. Aircraft models include Cessna 185, Cirrus SRs, and similar. Previous inspections and repairs often require correction, involving structural repairs, rewiring, and replacement tasks. Basic checks and avionics installations are also part of the role, as the shop is a Garmin dealer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual inspections on General Aviation aircraft.
• Perform avionics updates and repairs, including transponder checks.
• Carry out structural repairs and rewiring as needed.
• Remove and replace components during annual inspections.
• Install avionics equipment, specifically Garmin systems.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks meet high standards of quality.

• A&P License
• 4+ years of recent experience repairing General Aviation aircraft
• Experience in aircraft maintenance, focusing on General Aviation
• Specialization in Avionics or Structures
• Ability to crouch, stoop, and bend to access small spaces
• Proficiency in performing annual inspections and avionics installations

• Own basic tools required for the job
• Experience with Cessna, Cirrus, Piper, and similar aircraft

Work Environment

Work in a hangar and shop space at Wenatchee airport. The current facility has space for one aircraft and includes an avionics repair bench, tools, and parts. The space is somewhat cramped, but there are plans to move into a larger hangar across the runway. The station manager, who is also a mechanic, will work alongside you, fostering a collaborative problem-solving environment.

This is a Contract position based out of East Wenatchee, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
