JOB SUMMARY:
Assemble, troubleshoot and repair airframes, engines and systems. Perform modification work on Lear Jet aircraft as required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing scheduled, unscheduled, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts on aircraft in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual or other approved technical data.
- Documenting all maintenance performed in accordance with the requirements of regulating authorities and company guidelines.
- Complete return to service entry into aircraft logbook.
- Assisting in the administration of parts management, core returns, and warranty claims in a timely and orderly fashion.
- Maintenance of shop, hangar tools, equipment, and facilities, as needed.
- Participating in the Safety Management System.
- Perform other duties as required by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager or Director of Maintenance.
- Perform a variety of mechanical duties on Lear Jets including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly and adjustment of various systems.
- Perform duties in a manner consistent with the highest standards of safety.
- Make appropriate entries in aircraft records.
- Perform engine maintenance on airworthy aircraft and complete logbook entry.
- Perform annual inspections and continued airworthiness inspections.
- Leads safety or quality improvements.
