Composite Technician Launch Your Career in Aerospace
Pay: Up to $25/hour
We are seeking a motivated Composite Technician I to support the manufacturing of advanced aerospace components using composite materials such as carbon fiber and prepregs. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience or strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow within the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hand layup of composite materials on molds per engineering specifications
- Prepare tools, molds, and surfaces to ensure proper material adhesion and part quality
- Apply prepreg materials with accurate fiber orientation and ply placement
- Set up and execute vacuum bagging processes for curing operations
- Operate ovens and autoclaves in accordance with process and safety requirements
- Trim, drill, and finish parts to meet dimensional and quality standards
- Inspect components for defects and ensure compliance with specifications
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or technical setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or related field
- Familiarity with composite materials or technical documentation

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
