Summary:
Perform tasks in Initial Phase Manufacturing, Composites, and Final Phase to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, and installations meet design specifications.
Perform inspections using engineering drawings, work orders, and QA procedures
Conduct preliminary, progressive, and final inspections of aircraft structures and systems
Verify functional operation, inspect for FOD, and ensure compliance with FAA procedures
Ensure proper use and storage of tools and equipment
Promote safety, report hazards, and contribute to safety programs
Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel
Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with standards
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of quality inspection experience or 2 years of GAC manufacturing experience required
2 years of manufacturing or equivalent aerospace experience preferred
Formal Inspection Training Program (90 days) required
Working knowledge of shop mathematics, CATIA, and blueprint reading
Competent in using basic shop tools and equipment
