What are your contributions to the team?
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and develop strategies to realize savings.
- Support Sites and/or Business Units with appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance to our business requirements.
- Negotiate price reductions with suppliers, commercial Ts & Cs agreements and maintain relationships with the supplier.
- Develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have negotiation experience
- You possess a university degree in Business Administration or equivalent, and at least three years of pertinent IT experience;
- You are an expert in executing IT outsourcing contracts;
- You have general understanding of IT environments, projects and operations;
- You possess excellent analytical skills;
- You have strong skills in communication and in developing good client relations;
- You demonstrate leadership and flexibility with strong team spirit;
- You have excellent research skills and analytical skills related to financial, business and technological data;
- You are capable of solving complex strategic problems related to financial, business and technological situations;
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using SAP
- You are result oriented, ability to prioritize tasks and committed to meeting deadlines
- You role will be mixed of remote and on-site;
- You are fully bilingual (English-French), both spoken and written
