Make an Impact in Aviation Procurement!PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to play a vital role in the synchronization and optimization of our supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on our aviation operations by managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services critical to our success.
Key Responsibilities:Supplier Management & Negotiation
Act as an authorized agent of the company, managing all supplier-related activities, including contract negotiations, requests for quotations (RFQs), proposal analysis, and post-award supplier management.
Supply Chain Optimization
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including forecasting data, to ensure material availability and optimize supply chain planning. Collaborate with internal and external teams to align supply with customer demand, reducing material and product variability.
Customer & Supplier Coordination
Interface with both internal customers and external suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services, providing seamless communication and resolving any issues that arise.
Performance Management & Analysis
Track supplier performance, assessing quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness, and use this data to inform strategic procurement decisions.
Forecasting & Planning
Incorporate planning decisions from both customers and suppliers to drive optimal solutions for inventory management, reducing lead times and excess material.
Required Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor’s degree with 6-9 years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree (MBA) with 4-7 years of relevant experience.
Experience:
Proven expertise in Logistics and Material Planning is mandatory.
Extensive experience managing supplier relations, negotiating contracts, and overseeing supply chain functions.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships.
Experience with supply chain management software, data modeling, and inventory forecasting.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement strategic solutions to optimize supply chain performance.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $51.00 per hour
