Wiring Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Wiring Engineer for a short term project in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of aerospace wiring systems; this includes gathering technical requirements, creating blueprints and schematics, and ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and regulations.
- Design and develop wiring diagrams and schematics for aerospace systems
- Analyze project requirements and convert them into technical drawings
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Work closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure design accuracy
- Perform calculations to determine wire sizing, grounding and other electrical considerations
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on electrical issues
- Revise and update designs based on feedback and testing
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams
Qualifications and requirements:- Bilingual / fluency in Spanish required
- Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring design principles, and the aerospace industry.
- Proven experience as an Aerospace Wiring Designer or similar role
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring design principles
- Understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Must be bi-lingual (English-Spanish).
- BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or relevant field
