MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to provide full software lifecycle management across Product Lead Electronic Attack (PL EA).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides design architectures and creates and validates development, implementation, and documentation accomplishment for systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PL EA system.
- Participate in the coordination of the systems engineering integrated product team and other technical forums at the PEO and subordinate agency level.
- Maintain the evolving AMCS architecture.
- Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes.
- Apply expert technical knowledge in software architecture and capabilities in support of transformation of the Army initiatives and the fielding of digitized information infrastructures to the active and reserve components, including: analysis of user requirements, preparation of plans and associated documentation, conducting test and demonstration events, multi-organization coordination, performing risk assessments, and executing similar activities relevant to systems engineering and integration.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Able to oversee vendor development efforts to determine resource allocation, assess progress, and manage risk.
- Experience with agile software development including Program Trouble Reports (PTR), Jira, Confluence, Configuration Management, defects, velocity, backlog management, metrics and reporting.
- Ability to oversee the technical aspects of software development, testing, and integration into system development by a defense contractor.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting, revision, and configuration management.
- Knowledge of DOD Risk Management Framework and accreditation.
- Experience with software engineering on an EW, SIGINT or Offensive Cyberspace type of system.
- Knowledge of JICD4.2, messaging protocols, system interfaces, interface control standards and documentation.
- Knowledgeable with VICTORY, JICD 4.2, SOSA, MORA, CMOSS, RedHawk, TOA, TNG, Linux, Java, Python.
Clearance
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree required. Four (4) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
- Minimum of ten (10) years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with User Interfaces and “Customer Experience” optimization
- Experience with Developmental and Operational testing
- Understanding of Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) processes and workflows
- Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions
Other Qualifications
- Ability to travel up to 20 to CONUS locations to provide oversight on SW development from vendor team
- Ability to work in office/field/lab encivironments

The projected compensation range for this position is $80000 to $120000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
