Senior Advanced Systems Engineer job is available with Moseley Technical Services top Space & Defense company. This job can be worked from Arizona, Colorado, Pennsylvania, or Virginia. As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program within the PWSA initiative, continuing the development and integration of Ground Segment (GS) systems, including SUPERNOVAs, NOVAs, ground entry points (GEP), and associated ground networks.
- Support work across Enterprise, GS, and GMI levels for T2 operations, with a focus on satellite and ground segment communication and integration.
- Apply systems engineering expertise to enable effective ground-to-satellite communications and support advanced modeling, simulation, and integration tasks.
- Provide advanced systems engineering expertise to develop, integrate, and enhance satellite communication systems within the PWSA programs Ground Management and Integration initiative.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI. Active TS/SCI preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, or STEM and 8+ years of experience, or Masters degree and 6+ years of experience.
- Strong Systems Engineering with MBSE and tracking experience
- STK/Python, CAMEO, or MATLAB analyst focus
- Systems Engineering with core skills space, tracking, MATLAB or python skills, some software ideal for backfill
- SMART OA SE – knowledge of IRPL and modeling tracking payload, aerospace experience
- Strong SW, cloud, modeling, and sim background with space knowledge
