In this role the Senior Lead Engineer-Stress Analysis will actively involve in structural analysis of Landing System Components.
Position: Senior Lead Engineer (P3):
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leading/performing structural analysis of aircraft components and assemblies while working as a part of integrated team.
- Structural Analysis includes calculation of loads, static analysis and fatigue analysis.
- Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components using Classical Analysis and Finite Element Analysis.
- Generate documentation to report the analysis results to support certification.
- Able to take ownership and handle the project with minimum dependency.
- Ensure the analysis tasks are completed within the stipulated time and high quality.
- Be a team player with an ability to communicate with cross functional teams, SBU and exhibit the go-getter type of attitude.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in structural analysis of Metallic aircraft components and assemblies.
- Experience with calculation of Loads, Static & Fatigue analysis.
- Experience in Finite Elements Analysis Tools.
- Hands on experience in design software (CATIA V5).
- Robust understanding of engineering fundamentals such as Material properties, Free Body Diagrams, Loads & Analysis methods.
- Strong Academic background with knowledge of Aerospace Domain.
- Good understanding of Strength of Material, Engineering Drawing and Manufacturing Process.
