PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in aviation to hire a Quality Engineer Support Technician in Coventry, Rhode Island. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to maintaining the highest quality standards in the industry.
Role OverviewAs a Quality Engineer Support Technician, you will assist the engineering team with day-to-day quality tasks, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, supporting internal and external audits, generating test instructions, and maintaining quality records.
Key Responsibilities- Support quality engineering with testing instructions, test equipment, and performing internal tests.
- Schedule and assist with internal and external audits to meet AS9100 standards.
- Maintain quality records, metrics, and support root cause analysis (RCCAs).
- Conduct inspections, both in-process and incoming, ensuring product quality.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and document control processes.
QualificationsRequired:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with composites, textiles, and fabrication equipment.
- Proficiency in laboratory practices and materials testing.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and perform physical tasks as required.
Preferred:
- Associate Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering support.
- Experience with testing and measurement equipment.
- Knowledge of industry test methods and lab workflows.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $38.00 per hour
