We put our customers first – exemplified by our mission: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®.” Sound like a team you want to be a part of? Come build your career with BAE Systems.
The Product Introduction Facilities (PIF) Pilot Line located in Greenlawn, NY is responsible for the early builds of new electronic and optomechanical hardware designs. This includes the development and maturation of the associated build processes, programming, tooling and documentation in preparation for full rate production.

The PIF and the NPI Engineer are critical, unique and exciting roles that help BAE Systems support and satisfy our customer’s needs.
The NPI Engineer develop solutions for product assembly, resolve product design/manufacturing challenges, and support new product introduction through the transition to production (TTP) process. Focusing on the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) activities early in the design process, the NPI Engineer will help drive affordability, producibility and technology trends into our factories to maximize design flexibility, manufacturability, and lower overall product costs.
