JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:
Develop and deliver training on manufacturing processes (soldering, ESD handling, crimping, cable assembly).
Ensure personnel meet industry standards (J-STD, IPC-610, IPC-620) for compliance and best practices.
Create and maintain training materials (manuals, guides, visual aids) for both formal and informal training.
Conduct training in formal classroom and on-the-job environments, adapting to different learning styles.
Assess and improve training effectiveness, ensuring skill development meets production requirements.
Collaborate with supervisors, quality engineers, and stakeholders to identify and address training needs.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into training programs.
Work closely with the production team to ensure they have the necessary skills for high-quality, efficient production.
Develop and evaluate training programs to meet shop floor personnels needs, covering foundational and specialized manufacturing skills.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering or related field.
Proven experience in manufacturing engineering and training, with focus on skill development.
Knowledge of J-STD, IPC-610, IPC-620 standards, and processes like soldering, ESD handling, and cable assembly.
Strong communication and training abilities, with adaptability to various learning styles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing training needs and creating effective programs.
