The intern will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company projects.
Under direct supervision, the intern performs professional work following a set of policies and procedures for guidance.
This position requires some professional judgment and a limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts.
Performs chemical analyses, routine syntheses, tests, and experiments where procedures are well established.
Completes documentation and writes test reports to document findings.
Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Chemistry (or similar major), and be returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
Preferred Requirements
3.2 GPA or above
Junior standing or above
Working knowledge of typical Microsoft software applications
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to work with little direction
Solid academic track record of accomplishment
