What are your contributions to the team?
- Analysis, proposal, and implementation plan for improvements to support processes (Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement) to achieve lean manufacturing in the Business Units where the department collaborates.
- Standardization of medium-complexity methodologies, tools, and/or methods for the departments activities across the different business units.
- Analysis, proposal, and implementation plan for tools or methodologies for a specific area to prevent or reduce waste in the production process.
- Optimal design of line balancing, capacity analysis, flow of operations, materials, and information for production processes where required.
- Optimal plans for efficient use of resources (labor, machinery, time, and capital).
- Proposal for an optimal distribution of space and flow of operations, materials, and information in the assigned production unit.
- Analysis of compliance with internal and external safety standards related to layout, maximizing the use of resources.
- Analysis, proposal and implementation plan for value-added projects that impact the safety, quality, delivery and cost of the business
How to thrive in this role?
- You should be recent graduate or within two years of completing a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- You must have intermediate English.
- You must have intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables and chart preparation).
