Engineering Technical Support Apprenticeship
easyJet are now recruiting for our 2025 Engineering Technical Support Apprenticeship Programme based in our Engineering and Maintenance function. During your apprenticeship, you will spend time in one of three different areas of engineering. This could be Base Maintenance, Engineering Training, or our Supply Chain team.

What you’ll be doing:
· Over a 2-year programme you will complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship – Business Administrator whilst working alongside our teams in Luton for on-the-job training to build your practical experience.
· You will gain experience in key operational engineering support functions:
- Base Maintenance/Modification Planning - planning of our complex heavy base maintenance checks, and associated work, across multiple locations. Assisting our modifications team in approving proposed modifications and effectively plan modifications on the aircraft in our fleet.
- Engineering Training - coordinating and managing engineering training courses, contributing to the design and development of dynamic and engaging course content, updating and enhancing training materials, and supporting the creation of innovative digital media content.
- Supply Chain Part & Vendor Administrator - working in the Supply Chain team within Engineering & Maintenance, a team that manages the complete end-to-end process from supplier selection and supplier management through to the delivery of goods and services and whose purpose is to maximise aircraft availability whilst reducing inventory costs.
· Your passion will be turned into practical experience in an exciting live environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop all the key skills required to start your career within the aviation sector.
What skills will you learn?
· You will learn how to use our internal I.T. systems, including MS Office, Teams, AMOS, TOPS
· You will learn to write professional emails and how to record and analyse data
· You will learn to make decisions and deal with the challenges presented within MOC
· You will learn to build relationships within the MOC teams and across the organisation
· You will learn how to communicate, whether face-to-face, over teams, in meetings or in writing, with those inside and outside the organisation
· You will learn how to work to a high standard in anything you do
Apprenticeship Levy funding criteria (determined by the UK Government)
· Spend 50 of their working time in England
· Current qualifications do not overlap with that of the apprenticeship
· Be prepared to complete a prior knowledge check (completed by the training provider)
· Able to provide your Maths & English GCSE or equivalent certificates from Scotland
What Support will you get?
· easyJet will provide 6 hours per week ‘off the job’ during working hours to support the apprenticeship learning
What you’ll need for this role:
· Ideally you will have a minimum of five GCSEs or level 3 Functional Skills including English, Maths at grades 4-9
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· As an individual you need to be motivated, pro-active and have a positive attitude
· An interest in aviation and engineering would be an advantage
· You must be eligible to hold a valid passport and to successfully pass a CRB check
