Engineering Aide

Contract Position
At Moseley we are supporting the largest defense contrators Missile and Fire Control program. The efforts of our employees are the key to the newest innovations in defense and aerospace.

Responsibilities:
- Design and fabricate electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings.
- Read blueprints and create custom metal chassis, calculating metal stretch based on metal type and bend radius.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, draftsmen, procurement, and quality inspectors to ensure successful project execution.
- Use CNC machines, lathes, and various computer programs to update job status, quality inspections, and engineering changes.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and creating custom metal chassis.
- Ability to fabricate test equipment from layouts, schematics, bills of materials, and engineering guidelines.
- Capable of communicating design or process issues to management or design engineers.
