Position Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at Jet Aviation Madrid, you will collaborate with a diverse, international team to deliver innovative and safe engineering solutions for our customers. You will prepare technical drawings, support project planning, and drive process improvements that help shape the future of business aviation. Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents that comply with all recognized safety, certification, and customer requirements under direct supervision.
- Review aircraft configurations to assess project feasibility, accuracy, and completeness.
- Provide input to the lead engineer for drawing release planning and project status updates.
- Participate in and witness system tests, preparing clear and actionable reports.
- Identify process deviations and cost reduction opportunities within your projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes and add value.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure globally aligned project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university (preferably in aviation or a related field).
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in aerospace, engineering, production, or a related technical environment.
- General knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA and/or FAA).
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written), as you will collaborate closely with directors and colleagues across our global network
- A proactive, forward-thinking, and collaborative mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- A technical certificate and/or relevant practical experience in a production, installation, or engineering environment within the aerospace industry.
- German and/or French language skills.
