Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, System Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology or a related field with typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Infrastructure as Cloud: Terraform (preferred), Ansible, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Chef, Puppet
- CI/CD Pipelines (YAML Based): AWS, Azure, GIT Hub
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience deploying applications in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and deployment, automation, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices, including experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of security principles and protocols, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Experience implementing and maintaining compliance controls.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server virtualized administration and deployment.
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Certification
- ISM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification
- ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification
- ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification
- MCSE or Linux Security Certification
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL/TLS
- Familiarity with log management and analysis tools
- Experience with security testing tools
- Understanding of software development best practices, including code review, testing, and version control.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of containerized application architectures
- Experience with agile development methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
