Required Skills
- Strong academic background in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2 -4 Yrs of experience
- Strong understanding of Strength of Materials and Machine Design
- Good knowledge of Engineering Materials
- Good understanding of Engineering Drawing and Manufacturing Processes
- Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to perform hand calculations for stress analysis (metallic and composite structures)
- Exposure to stress analysis of metallic components, composites, and fasteners, and composite failure modes
- knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Understanding of different types of non-linearities (geometric, material, contact)
- Knowledge of applying boundary conditions and loads
- Ability to recognize capabilities and limitations of analysis tools
- Ability to perform simple to medium complexity analyses
- Expert in meshing techniques (2D, 3D Hex, Tet)
- Ability to perform post-processing and interpret results
- Advanced knowledge of HyperMesh and HyperView
- Basic knowledge of FEMAP and NX Nastran
- Knowledge of NX CAD / Unigraphics is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Teamcenter (PLM) is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Awareness of regulatory standards (FAA/EASA) is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Team player with adaptability and flexibility
