Join a team that applies its technical expertise and knowledge to ensure products are produced with high quality and efficiency. You will be a technical expert with responsibility for product and process applications. You will ensure product integrity in manufacturing output and continuous improvements working with labs and factory operations.  

Our team develops new or modified processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscope and MEMS based inertial sensors and IMUs. You will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes.  You will determine parts and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification, for both existing and new processes/product technologies.  You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.  Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•Provide test and manufacturing support for RLG and MEMS based inertial measurement units (IMUs).  

•Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.  

•Utilize CAMP, Lean, and DMAIC Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.  

•Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis. 

•Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.  

•Assist development of new products.  

•Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.  

•Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

 

The annual base salary range for this positionis $93,600 - $109,600. Please note that this salary information serves as ageneral guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well asmarket and business considerations

 

MUST HAVE:  

•Bachelors Degree in STEM field

•5+ years experience

•Must be a U.S Citizen due to contractual requirements
