At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

The Integrated Solutions Modeling and Architecture (ISMA) directorate is composed of an energetic multi-disciplinary team of over 300 engineers working collaboratively with internal and external customers and programs to provide mission level modeling & simulation of sensing & effects capabilities from seabed to space, multi-level operation analysis, integrated system of system architectures and operations research. We are in the front end of the business pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next-generation mission solutions from system-level up to campaign-level.

What You Will Do

Perform customer focused mission modeling and simulation activities for all customer areas.  Our teams develop, analyze, and grade flexible integration solutions crossing all product areas (sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics, and operations), developing tools and methods to evaluate campaign, mission, and system level analysis and visualizations based on customer requirements.  The department has a tradition of excellence through innovation and teamwork while championing individual diversity in a flexible work environment to meet the needs of today’s workforce.

You will have an opportunity to use a wholistic mindset and your systems and software engineering skills to develop and visualize solutions to worldwide challenges that will benefit our warfighters. We are looking for innovative, creative, and highly motivated team members to develop and integrate computer models and simulations that effectively capture system and system of systems effects in complex threat environments. These models will generate virtual and/or analytical solutions to identify technology gaps, demonstrate the operational benefits of new mission concepts (e.g., Manned-Unmanned Teaming) in complex operational scenarios, and test systems.
