Summary:
Perform routine production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual operations.
Conduct functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components.
Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and faults.
Assess and document test or analysis data to ensure compliance.
Identify roadblocks and production constraints; escalate unresolved issues with clear communication.
Support team performance through cross-training and mentoring.
Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED; vocational school or associate degree also accepted.
1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
1+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.
1+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installation, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.
1+ years using software applications: internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized tools.
1+ years following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.
Ability to meet physical requirements: flexion/extension (head bent down/up), kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, twisting, standing, walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, scaffolding), crawling, and crouching.
Ability to lift and carry required materials as needed.
Must be able to work variable shifts.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
