Job Description:
Position Purpose:
• Lead, support, and assist technicians performing avionics installations.
• Fabricate wire harnesses, install, terminate, ring-out, and assist in functional tests of avionics/electrical
systems.

Essential Functions:
• Provide work direction to technicians and ensure task completion within the allotted time frame.
• Coordinate with and assist other departments to ensure on-time aircraft delivery.
• Install, modify, and fabricate wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment according
to blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
• Train team members in related work assignments, using skills as a specialist to contribute to employee
development.
• Assist Engineering in resolving problems and making repairs as per engineering direction.
• Maintain required logs and records.
• Ensure work meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Enforce company programs including FOD, tool control, 5-S, and all safety regulations.
• Inspect all work, including that of other team members, to ensure a defect-free assembly before final
inspection.

Additional Functions:
• Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Coordinate shift changes in the absence of the team leader.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events).
• Assist and fill in for the team coordinator as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two years of related work experience, or four
years of experience in an avionics/electronic career field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Other Requirements:
•Working knowledge of Gulfstream Policies and Procedures manual, Inspection Procedures manual, and
relevant Process Specifications.
• Ability to move to new tasks with minimal short-term impact on established goals and schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer keyboard skills.
