This is a 1st shift position with the following hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM. Position includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Utilize limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.
Follow written procedures and demonstrate proper use of hand tools and measuring devices.
Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Troubleshooting and testing of repair units.
Use electronic test and troubleshooting equipment.
Utilizes SAP and other MRO computer programs.
Participate on project teams.
Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of complex products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where ingenuity and judgments are required.
Must be highly-motivated and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Utilize analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Successfully work in a team to support work capacity in a fast-paced environment.
Conduct written and verbal communication with technicians, engineering, and leadership within the MRO.
Responsible for moderate level of planning.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires a HS Diploma with a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience.

Must have an electronics background with 2+ years complimentary work history in a manufacturing or service environment.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
AAS degree in electronics and/or prior military experience strongly preferred.
2+ years’ experience with aviation manufacturing or repair is preferred.
Holds or has ability to obtain Preliminary MRB (Materials Review Board) authorization.
Experience reviewing CMM/SB (Compliance Maintenance Manual/Service Bulletin) documentation and creating span-ups.
