JOB SUMMARY

The Ecommerce Analyst is responsible for overseeing the process and delivery of Sun Countrys marketing technology strategy. They are responsible for intaking and evaluating requests from stakeholders, analyzing performance, and optimizing the traveler experience at key journey points.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Delivery:

  • Lead campaign and email operations, and work with creative and database teams to plan and execute email campaigns.
  • Work with stakeholders to design new email layouts, perform A/B testing, and constantly improve performance.
  • Ensure all data is tagged properly and flows across eCommerce tools and databases.
  • General knowledge and understanding of SEO and its impact on the website.

• Optimization:

  • Leverage user research and traveler data to identify target segments.
  • Understand and contribute to journey mapping and discovery.
  • Derive actionable insights from campaign reporting, A/B testing, and website performance to optimize ongoing campaigns or enhance future efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze owned digital metrics, analytics, and identify user behavior patterns, KPI improvements and trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create detailed performance reports monthly to keep brand and marketing stakeholders informed on KPIs.

Project Management:

  • Intake requests from brand and business teams, align with eCommerce strategy and turn them into actionable items.
  • Drive cross-functional projects forward by defining requirements and understanding stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for content publishing, email requests and other marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, economics, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in an Analyst position
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in an agile work environment
  • Experience working in an email service platform
  • Experience working with marketing data - including KPIs and URL tracking
  • Working knowledge of SEO - including content, interlinking, and page optimization
  • Travel or aviation related experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
