In collaboration with the Director, Standards and Regulatory Compliance, the incumbent will be responsible for producing and maintaining technical documentation for Air Transat’s Flight Operations department. They will also ensure compliance of content related to regulations and standards for quality and safety purposes.
Responsibilities
- Create and update technical documentation in various formats (XML, SGML, PDF).
- Manage change requests for all technical operations documentation.
- Work closely with the technical pilots’ team for manufacturer documentation.
- Convert Air Transat corporate manuals from DOC/PDF to XML.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for stylesheets and electronic document viewer functionalities.
- Plan and execute data cleansing and document standardization projects.
- Ensure compliance tags and XML module links meet industry standards.
- Translate documents into French and English, as needed.
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
