How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Network Schedule Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing tools, processes, and reports to facilitate monitoring of the Delta passenger schedule build, analyzing structural opportunities or omissions, as well as identifying and recommending corrective courses of action. Ideal candidates would be creative self-starters with an operational background and technological skills, ranging from database SQL to data visualization through Tableau.Responsibilities in this Role:Develop tools and dashboards to monitor health of the Delta Air Lines passenger scheduleAnalyze and report scheduling trends to ensure adherence of established rules and goalsStrategic implementations, automation applications, and schedule conflict resolutionsLocate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models, and project developmentAbility to troubleshoot data related issues: including databases, servers, and data connectionsMaintain, develop and improve monthly reports and communicate/develop productionized schedules solutions; requires a strong understanding of the Delta operation, proficiency in Tableau, SAS, SQL, Python and other business intelligence toolsCross functionality with aircraft scheduling teams is required. Position may include traditional schedule management tasks

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Successful candidates will have experience with some, or all, of the following: SQL, Tableau, SAS, Alteryx, PythonMust seek challenging, analytical work. Possess superior technical, quantitative/analytical, organizational and decision-making skillsMust work well in a team environment and possess a high degree of initiative and driveMust have the ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional divisions within DeltaExcellent written and verbal communication required, with ability to produce concise and relevant documents and presentations for Delta senior managementMinimum 2-4 years related work experienceFamiliarity with Network Planning process, Delta operation, scheduling systems (AirVision), and Revenue Management concepts is strongly desiredMust be performing satisfactorily in current positionConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal dataEmbraces diverse people, thinking, and stylesPossesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalencyIs at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
