Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:

This position will lead and handle optimization projects throughout the entire logistics services organization, including Warehousing, AOG, BMC and Tooling. The primary objective of the logistics services optimization team is to support the larger organization through continuous improvement initiative that improve efficiency and accelerate parts movement. In this role, the Sr. Analyst will work with frontline as well as department management teams to implement lean six sigma principles to improve operations.

Primary continuous improvement responsibilities include: engaging with stations to carry out root cause analysis to identify difficulties, collaborating with stations to implement improvement opportunities, developing, piloting and implementing new processes to transform and optimize the business, leading their own projects and developing change plans to implement new processes, influencing business leadership on strategy, and working with the business to apply available tools, reports, dashboards and data.

Travel up to 75 and may include international travel

  • Apply sophisticated Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work Cellular Flow, Pull Replenishment, Demand and Production smoothing, Mistake Proofing, Total Productive Maintenance etc.) or sophisticated Six Sigma principles (DMAIC approach, SIPOC, Process Capability, Root Cause Analysis, Normal and Non-Normal data Statistical Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments etc.) to transform and optimize processes in the Logistics Services organization (primarily in the Warehouses)
  • Carry out material flow analysis and work with the warehousing management team and external partners to design layouts for new facilities, expansions of existing facilities or improvements to existing facilities that consider safety and ergonomics while meeting the needs of the operation
  • Collect data, analyze and develop improvements and innovations that are statistically confirmed for specified projects; establish sustainment plans and assist in preparing presentations to communicate project status
  • Participate in large, cross-departmental groups through sophisticated and strategic workshops with Logistics Services and its other partners (including teams outside of logistics services such as inventory management, finance and digital technology) and help find opportunities for improvement in a data centric fashion
Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Technology, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Successful project delivery in Continuous Improvement and/or Warehousing Design/Layouts
  • Experience with Lean/6 sigma
  • Statistical and analytical skills
  • Project management skills
  • Technical communication skills
  • Continuous Improvement approach
  • Sophisticated knowledge in MS Office
  • Strong leadership with effective oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $87,780.00 to $119,680.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
