By leveraging cutting-edge tools and techniques, we analyze and model military systems to enhance mission effectiveness and survivability. Our work involves evaluating new operational concepts, system designs, and tactical strategies, all with the goal of ensuring the highest level of safety and performance for the warfighter.

The Work

As part of the OA organization, you will support Operations Analysis studies through sophisticated modeling, simulation, and analysis of military systems using your expertise in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML). These studies quantify the impact of new operational concepts (CONOPS), system design variants, and force size/mix on survivability and mission effectiveness. You will leverage your analytical expertise to transform study concepts into effective models or simulations, providing crucial analysis for requirements definition, CONOPS evaluation, and operational effectiveness studies, and military utility assessments.

Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or other technical degree OR equivalent work / operational experience

Knowledge of C++, Python, R, and/or constructive simulation tools.

Strong foundation in AI/ML application to modeling and simulation.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
