Surveillance Logistics team is seeking a Logistics Specialist to be part of the Pack/Ship team, responsible for processing documentation and shipping of commercial and government owned assets in accordance with Defense Contract Management Agency Transportation rules and regulations. The candidate selected will perform a wide array of duties from customer service, collaborating with peers and internal customers, SAP processes, TMS systems, contract reviews, problem solving, verifying accuracy of documentation for outbound shipments and coordinating complex operations, ensuring seamless transportation and delivery of shipments.
What You Will Do:
Ensure all logistics activities comply with required regulations and safety standards
Provide training to coworkers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
Execute logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and carriers
Work with Pack/Ship and Raytheon customers to verify documentation and hardware
Utilize logistics data to identify and resolve issues, and make informed data driven decisions per requirements
Use logistics data to analyze performance metrics, create reports, and present insights and recommendations to senior management
Utilize SAP (APEX & PRISM) to process outbound shipments
Effectively drive positive change in a complex and dynamic environment
Influence others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
Work additional hours and occasional Saturdays

Qualifications You Must Have:
Minimum 5 years of Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or relevant work experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years relevant experience
Experience with processing classified and hazardous shipments
Industry experience with protocol in a defense company, including work with Government Furnished Material (GFM)
Working knowledge of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and Defense Transportation Regulations, FAR, DFAR
Hazmat Certified (CFR 49, IATA)

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
