Duration: 1 year term Working closely with the Talent Management team, the temporary LMS & eLearning Specialist will bring a strong combination of eLearning development expertise and LMS configuration/administration experience. This role designs engaging, high-impact microlearning experiences while supporting LMS operations that enhance product knowledge for both internal and external stakeholders.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, team-centric attitude, high energy, and a results-driven approach, along with a passion for learning and development—particularly eLearning. Duties & ResponsibilitiesCourse DevelopmentDesign and develop SCORM-compliant eLearning courses using rapid authoring tools, primarily Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Suite as well as using AI voiceover generation.Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), peers, and leadership—or work independently—to create instructional designs and storyboards aligned with learning objectives.Ensure all training programs include clearly defined objectives and outcomes, with professionally prepared instructional materials that meet organizational standards.Create interactive learning elements, including quizzes and gamified activities, to reinforce knowledge retention and skill application.Educate stakeholders on support processes, roles and responsibilities, and eLearning best practices while clearly communicating and adhering to course delivery timeframes.Learning Management System (LMS)Support the implementation of a new LMS, including configuration, data migration, testing, and user training.Maintain accurate training records (including certifications and licenses) within a centralized LMS and generate reports as required.Analyze LMS data to evaluate the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.Support with any other general LMS administration as needed. Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or certification in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Graphic Design, or a related field is considered an asset.5+ years of relevant experience in LMS administration and/or eLearning development preferably in a highly regulated, safety sensitive and technical environment.Proven experience developing SCORM-compliant courses using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate. SkillsStrong sense of urgency and initiative in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, think strategically and creatively, and maintain strong attention to detail.Highly collaborative with the ability to work effectively in team settings, with innate willingness to support colleagues with deliverables when priorities shift.Solid understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, mobile learning, and course development best practices.Strong understanding of composition and layout, with experience in graphic design an asset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Word).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
