Overview
Spirit AeroSystems designs and builds aerostructures for both commercial and defense customers. With headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, Spirit operates sites in the U.S., U.K., France and Malaysia. Responsibilities
Location: Wichita, KS (On-site)
Key Accountabilities:
- Plans, commits, and controls the deployment of resources in response to customer, program, and business requirements
- Directs the development, integration, implementation, and management of new or revised programs, plans, strategies, or processes
- Authorizes changes to work statement using a formal directive system
- Develops control systems, maintains status information of program and customer commitments, and monitors compliance to plan. Interfaces with management from many occupations and organizations to provide leadership and coordination
- Supports management in accomplishing external government audits to achieve MMAS compliance and maintain compliance with company policy
- Accesses production systems for managing customer sales orders & suppliers through inventory systems
- Responsibilities require internal coordination of contract administration, purchasing, quality assurance, traffic, and warehousing
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of related experience
- 2+ of ERP experience (e.g. SAP, MES, Oracle, etc.)
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
- Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Background in production flow, logistics operations, and/or collaborating with multiple functions within an organization
