Icelandair is seeking an individual to join the Performance Management function of Icelandairs Revenue Management & Pricing department, to drive forward and manage critical revenue projects and performance management processes within the Commercial Division and in close collaboration with other departments.

Icelandairs Commercial Division is responsible for Icelandair’s global network, revenue management, customer service & engagement strategies, spaneting, sales, and partnerships and this role will provide hands-on experience in running diverse, strategic projects and performance management processes, while positioning you for long-term growth at Icelandair.  Whether youre an ambitious professional or a recent graduate, this role offers an exciting opportunity to tackle strategic business challenges, drive impactful projects, and develop your career in the airline industry.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead cross-functional business development projects from inception to completion
• Take responsibility for assigned project workstreams
• Structure problems and run analyses
• Generate hypotheses for own workstreams
• Build and nurture productive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Lead internal Icelandair meetings in a structured and efficient manner
• Present impactful insights and solutions to key stakeholders, guiding strategic decisions
• Consistently seek and provide responsible and mature feedback

Qualifications:

• Education fit for purpose (e.g. bachelor’s Degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, operations, project management or related fields)
• International work or academic experience
• Interest in and strong desire to learn about the airline industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams internationally
• Social capabilities to build up good and trustful working relationships inside and outside of the organization
• Strong analytical skills, a growth mindset and eagerness to learn
• Open-minded and positive team player
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of work
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
