Overview:Airbus is undergoing Digital transformation journey, establishing new global governance, ways of working, and implementing advanced digital business services and platforms. As part of this exciting growth, our Global Innovation Center (GIC) in Bangalore is seeking a dedicated Associate Security Analyst to join the Critical Assets and Data Protection department within Airbus Commercial.

Responsibilities:As an Associate Security Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include triage, initial investigation, and operational execution across a range of security domains.
Security Monitoring : Continuously monitor security tools, dashboards, and alerts for coverage and compliance related issues.
Reporting: Track and report security posture metrics, assisting with efforts to improve our Cyber Score and overall security stance.
Vulnerability Remediation Coordination: Coordinate closely with other security and IT teams on remediation activities, particularly utilizing the SNOW VR tool (ServiceNow Vulnerability Response) to track and drive the closure of identified vulnerabilities.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and update detailed operational runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles for L1 processes and common L2 issues.
Data Quality and Reporting: Internally, partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to ensure data quality and support the development of dashboarding and metric reports related to security posture and remediation effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective business relationship management with internal product and operational teams to facilitate smooth security operations and remediation efforts.
Key Requirements:Experience: Proven experience (1-3 years) working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar IT support role, specifically providing L1 and L2 support.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
Familiarity with various security domains such as endpoint protection, network security, access control, and vulnerability management.
Hands-on experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools like Splunk for log analysis and alert monitoring.
Experience using a ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow (SNOW), particularly in a Vulnerability Response (VR) context.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and identifying anomalies.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder coordination and clear articulation of technical issues.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education: A bachelor&39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security&43;, CEH, GIAC certifications).
Knowledge of common enterprise tools, network protocols, and cloud security concepts.
Familiarity with cyber risk governance and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001).
Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams in a large, complex organization.
