Icelandair is looking for passionate individuals in the diverse position of Controller in GOC. This is a temporary position with the possibility of continuing work.

The department is part of Airport Operations, the workplace is located at Icelandair HQ in Hafnarfjörður. The work is shift-based.

Responsibilities include:

• Controller is responsible for coordinating ground handling at Keflavík Airport
• Supervision and follow-up regarding customer service
• Liaise with ISAVIA
• Coordinate’s information flow within Airport Operation
• Sits in on daily briefings with relevant parties
• Sits in on daily „on time“ meetings with relevant parties
• Reporting on station punctuality and delays
• Other duties as requested

Qualifications:

• High-school diploma
• Knowledge of airport´s operations
• Minimum age 20 years old
• Valid driving license
• Good English skills, written and spoken, other language skills are an advantage
• Good computer skills
• Resourcefulness, honesty and punctuality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Positive mindset and excellent customer service skills
