Job Description:
  • Responsible for a full range of licensing and compliance duties including completing, filing, and maintaining a variety of company licenses.
  • The Compliance clerk assists the company’s compliance team with clerical tasks, such as data entry, bookkeeping, and compliance monitoring.
  • The Compliance Clerk will assist with processing and distributing compliance documentation as needed.
  • This role will also coordinate and schedule compliance training sessions for department managers and work under the supervision of the manager in charge of compliance.
  • This position requires an in-depth understanding of HR practices, payroll, and industry regulations. candidates should have excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Must be in Microsoft Suite and be familiar with general-purpose compliance tools like ADP and Federal and State employer portals.
  • The ability to create accurate on-demand reports is essential to succeed in this role as well as prior experience working as a Compliance Assistant or a similar role.

Job Duties

  • Revise sections of the compliance programs according to changing laws, regulations, and policies
  • Identify gaps and errors in business documents and ensure timely submission of compliance reports
  • Help the manager in charge of compliance policy management by scheduling compliance training sessions
  • Provide email support by coordinating communications between the company and regulatory authorities
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports regarding technical, security, financial, and operational procedures
  • Manage the compliance audit calendar, review audit trails, and prepare the necessary paperwork for external auditors Requirements
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Compliance Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of state and federal laws, licensing, and tax permits
  • Familiarity with HR practices and labor legislation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP SmartCompliance
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and reporting skills
